Baby's First Swim!!!

I went for my first swim in a long time today, and I learned a few things....

1) I float ALOT better with baby on board!!
2) Swimming is a great break from gravity, and my back is very thankful for it!!!
3) Getting out of the pool is no small feat (and quite embarrassing) when you are pregnant!! Always swim in a lane with a ladder.
4) People stare even more when I am in a bathing suit then when I am in regular clothing.
5) Swallowing pool water is a good way to bring back morning sickness.
6) I can't wait for Mark, Baby Hill, and I to all go swimming together!!!

19 Weeks

Almost half way there!!! I'm not going to lie... the first few months have dragged on and on and on...... But I am officially feeling better (knock on wood!!!) and very excited to finally enjoy being pregnant!!!  I've started working out again, and it feels so good to do something besides sitting on the couch!!!  I have felt baby moving and I have also felt a few kicks (at least I think so!!) It is still very sporadic, and I look forward to consistently feeling her wiggle around, but what a cool feeling!!!!! Life is good =)...

Presents!!!!

The day after we found out we were having a baby girl, Mark came home with a surprise for the two of us!  I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and our baby got her first present - an adorable stuffed animal!! We are two lucky girls!!!

Pretty in Pink

Baby Hill is a GIRL!!!!!!!!! The ultrasound went well, and everything looks great at this point. At exactly 18 weeks, she is about 8 inches long and weighs appoximately 8 oz.  Our technician was really friendly and knowledgable which made the experience even better. He even switched the machine over to 3D for a while and we got some really great pictures of her cute little face!!! Now I can start decorating the nursery!!!!!!!!

Pink or Blue?

Today is the BIG DAY!!!! I have an ultrasound and will be finding out the sex of the baby!!!!!!!!!! I was sooo excited last night I couldn't sleep.  So far the vast majority of people think I am having a girl..... with a total of 40+ votes for girl and only 6 votes for boy..... What do you think?
